Looking for a Job?In a resume, it's generally important to accurately and concisely describe your qualities, in a positive manner. What job experience do you have? Job ExperienceApart from degrees, previous job experience is a plus. How long have you worked at your previous job? And, what made you quit your previous job? Your ResumeOf course, there are many other topics which must be covered, such as how you can help the company you're trying to work for. Why should they choose you over someone else? Do you have many credentials? Certificates? Diplomas? If you do, you should normally list them, along with your education! ReferencesReferences are also an important part of a resume. Do you have any previous employers or other individuals which would recommend you? Are there any colleagues? If you're just finishing an university or high school education, are there any professors or teachers who would be willing to write references for you? How can the employer contact these people? Clearly, there are many criteria which must be considered in writing a good resume; these are by no means the only ones. Writing a strong resume requires some planning and structuring. Avoid spelling and grammatical mistakes, and proofread carefully. Finally, it is normally advisable not to make your resume too long! Employers are likely to receive many resumes and applications, and they won't have the time to read numerous pages of information about you. (You probably wouldn't read this either if it was 500 pages....) Submit a ResumePlease check back here later. Meanwhile, try Submit a resume or Search for jobs.
